Yes despise, hold in contempt, deplore
Dislike
An all of such descriptive words
People use the words love and hate fare to free and easy!
People should THINK AND THINK - again
Afore, they say such words as love and hate!

You are right on both words. There should be a hundred words to describe what love is and all the different ways to love. Hate I think is easier, and I believe it stems always from fear, but then you have to understand fear, and that's another whole different and complicated feeling.
