Humour, a funny human toolHumour, takes many forms
One off liner's, jokes
Mockery, piss takes, satire
Banter, banter can be cruel
When the victim, can't come
Back with an appropriate retort
Or even an impropriate response!
All comedy depends on timing
Get the timing wrong, the silence, loud!
And only so much can be done with rotating fruits and vegs!
Stand up routines, scripted, off the cuff!
Sitcoms, films, or my favoured, comedy, radio!
Now politics, politicians, celebs, fair game for all of that!
The time we live in now, are the best of times for all forms of tomfoolery
Humour, first form of attack, and for defence, times when choices are simple
Laugh, or cry
Comedians, coming forward, beeing counted on to be defiant, now's the time
To stand up and take the piss! Out of those in power over us!
Comedians, expose the, emperors, empress, has no cloths!
Trumpeting Trump, don't like it muchly, biggerly upset ain't 'e!
