SUMMER HAS ARRIVDE!

We had the beast from the east
Oh what a cold breath we had
From that Beast!
Snow - most suffered - exception
Being Thanet - of course!
Just so very very cold - merely
Snow flurry's - that did stick not around!

Now - a hot front from THE EAST - again!
Would you believe - THAT! Cor Swipe Me!
Today - heat wave - scorching kind of day!
Temperature - low 24.2C - high - 28.7!
Who needs to go to Florida!
They have alligators AND crocodiles there - don't you know!
They coexists - as they appear to do with humans!
Mind so do we - only ours have TWO legs!

Oh happy May bank holiday to us Brits in the U K!

I can sort of say that today's weather was the real first day of our start of summer here... The one where it was tolerable to go out in a t-shirt without discomfort, and the one that was sunny if a bit breezy just the same, not quite summer but the warmest it's been so far... :) My douce moitié told me how hot it got over in the UK... glad it's not the case here yet ;) *hugs*

I like this immensely. We had three days last week (Wednesday through Friday) where the temperatures were 32C, 32C, and 29C. After an exceptionally damp and cold April.

Yesterday was mellow and around 17C. In fact, at 1 in the morning, we're down to a very cool 8C.

I think the word is "roller coaster"!
