THE LAST DAY! (WORLD WAR ONE)At Eleven AM - On The Eleventh Of November - the guns fell silent!
It were eerie - The Silence Were - in - it's Strange Way - Deafening!
Some I swear - went - mad - unable to handle - The Silence!
Birds sang - as like nothing had never happonde there!
As if The War - never happened!
Only the view - the sites - were proves that it had!
The stench of rotting flesh - human - horses - mules - still prevailed!
Smells of the over flowing La Treens!
With all those bodys hear a bouts and under the sod - the future harvests
Going to be good in the coming years!
It were very strange - how The War - became a - normality - for us all!
Dowt - whether any one will understand that in the years to come!
Life were as cheep as chips - one moment men were - a live - in a second - dead!
Such were - THAT BLEEDING BLOODY WAR!
