NOTHING MORE CAN I DO

You liked cider
The cider dont like
You
Took over you
Not like a cup of
Rosie Lee!

Now you like Charley!
Charley will take over you!
Charley is not your darling!

I warned you o so many times
Nothing more can I do for you
I cry for you is all I can now do for you now!

I can only support help those who are willing to help them selfs!

F.i.in.e Moods The PoetBay support member heart!
So difficult a situation... having to step back when your resources get depleted and while the addicted person self-destructs is the most difficult thing to do. As you say, the one on that path has to come to the realization that there's a problem, and then act to do something about it. No one else can make that happen. As loved-ones, we can only be there to support them as they're fighting through the steps of recovery so they're not alone to go through them. Before then, there's really nothing much more that we can do, very sadly. That's where your words led my thoughts... hope you're ok *hugs* xx
