Whether you claim the title of poet or not, I enjoy reading what you write! Your candour, your forthrightness, and your eagerness to explore things in language --- yes, you're one of us! Keep at it!

I think any writer vacillates between discouragement and the readiness to put words on paper anyway, in defiance of discouragement, because this is what we do!

So, whether you're a poet, a writer, someone who loves poetry, whichever phrasing strikes you as most applicable or most congenial, you are valued, cherished, and prized for your words!
