Perhaps a comment on the Kremlin lies
who falls to the temptation
to get too involved and fixed in his own ego,
thereby losing all detachment and perspective
to reality in something of a wishful thinking effort
to replace the undesirable elements of their reality
with their own or to at least impose their own
by driving over and ignoring facts.
They get immersed in what they think must be reality
but which is actually just castles in the air of their own fancy.
No harm in this, but danger will occur
if they gain power or some influence with many followers
who let themselves be tricked into believing
the attractive and seductive character of his conviction,
falling like himself for the convincing and idealistic mirage.
They get caught in their own spider’s web
of irresistible illusions, actually believing they are true,
while their materialization generally proves a fatal self-deceit,
especially to followers of credulous naivety who end up victims.
This is difficult and grows so even more when you observe
all those who actually got caught in this invidious trap,
establishing a firm or movement, getting many followers
and profiting and making fortunes of their racket,
being so successful mainly since they first of all became its victims,
failing to detach themselves from their own fancy and their self,
like all the demagogues of history, from prophets of the Orient
to destructive modern politicians.
You may be aware of this most mortal danger to the soul and history
but can’t do much about when this takes place around you
but stand by and just observe when the materialized delusions just collapse,
and then at least you kept afloat yourself above the waves
of this most formidable stormy ocean of the self-deceits of mankind.

Delusional
