I liked this, the way you've captured how the dog lives in the moment, as we all should.

With the Tanka challenge, I'm realising that some of the poems (as with this one) are not strictly Tanka's - the first line is of four and not five syllables. But life is short and art is long, so I'll butt out from now on.
