take it for what it is...come now, poets! all poetry, is relatable! put some thought into the words...and tell me what you think...

consequent absence...

consumed with attempts made, for sake
of an idea, with a blemished heart,
though one seeks to understand 'love',
might it first tear them apart...
for the incentive remains simple, sincere,
even as desperation admits desire,
and implications have come to suppose
her affiliation with him, the liar...
and, seeing as premises are crumbled,
and objections have confused 'love',
my heart pours out to those blue eyes,
dear girl...dear love...enough!
consequent silence, then, supercedes,
in the favor of corrupted intent,
with the demise of 'love' developing
a thought, her thought, soon absent...

Honest write. Love is not always ideal.
But I disagree - love does not tear you apart when you try to understand it. If you try to understand a person assuming he is something, he becomes a prickly burr... Same thing with love.
Misplaced love is the one that hurts. Though love is blind, it isnt impossible to use one's brains to check the path it is taking....

Arti.
