A love across the seas, Can it survive, Yes it will if that love is firm
It's been a long time and I lost all the feeling
As time passed by I shut my desires
Sweet plans died down with the passing of time
When lovers so young pass me by
I bow my head and turn around
But from a far distant place
There came a man with a golden heart
I sent him my picture and he claimed me on sight
He opened my heart and closed my doubts
Proved me his love and gave me his heart
Taught me to trust and love again
Now I'm in love with a wonderful man
If this is a dream I have no wish to awake
This distance is great and will our lives meet
Is this a vision and not for real
Can we cross the bridge and live together
Can we hold hands like lovers do
Walk under the stars that shine on our paths
If this is not real and our lives cannot meet
To be together for the rest of our lives
If I cannot have you my heart will die again
I will close myself and resign to the fact
That fate has dealt me yet another blow
And to love is not for me so I'll shut myself
Where no one can see the hurt I feel the remorse I bear
I can only wish I can only pray
That you will not give up the quest to be with me
You will stand by me as I will by you
We will go on and make our lives meet
And then be together for eternity.

Together
