My Love

When the moon comes out at night
And you see it shine like sparkling wine
You'll know my love is like the moon
Always there and shining bright
And if you need my love it will always be for you to dwell

When the moon comes out at night
And shines its light, like silvery streaks along a river
You'll know the length of my love
Always endless and forever flowing
Streaming freely just for you

When the moon comes out at night
And lights the sky where all the stars twinkle around
Flashing rays and beckoning to you
You will know that my love is still alive
Waiting for you to be loved again

But if the moon fails to show at night
And the stars run to hide
Then you will know this love has died
Of waiting too long for your call
So your silence has now killed this heart
