Thanking my Lord for his mercy towards me
I have had death lurking in my face
I have seen fate taking away my life
But the one above was there for me
He gave me strength he gave me courage
The will to go on he gave me too
Then a friend which was you
Whatever happens I can overcome now
What has happened I put aside
I believe the lord he knows best
So I let him decide the rest
Let him show let him guide
All those who tarnish me
I hold no malice no anger and no vengeance do I seek
I bless everyone around me
I thank the lord for what he gives
I thank him now for my survival
For his mercy for saving my soul
And I praise him for his glory
For now in his peace I gladly dwell.
