To you I dedicate these sickly flowers..

The Orchid

Ghostlike upon this disquieted shore
a perfumed scent the waves forlore
Her drowsy head with waxen eyes
An orchid embalmed in a musky `guise

A vivid apparition of an amethyst glare
bonebleached skin through shreds of despair
Gracelessly cowering on damp fetid grounds
black-biled halo draped `round jaded crowns

Behold the fatigued mistress of Ill and disease
a pale-shrouded bride on Pestilence` leash
Her phosphorescent stems overgrow the sites
where a Sepulchre entombes old Hecate`s rites

Lazily wafting from the old constellations
an universal breeze with a strange destination
Timidly slumbering in the nebula of dismay
a solitude orchid withers uknowingly away
