writing a little piece about the norwegian flag.. inspired by some of our old folksongs and the national anthem.. enjoy the read:D


The flag

Embracing the flag
strapping it around your
cold naked self
A pride of the nation

Red colours shine
In your beatiful
wine red cheeks
as the coulor of the flag

And on bare feet
you and i dance
in the cold white snow
stripes of the flag

We lay down
and stare with joy
at the blue skies
cross of the flag

And as we fall to sleep
on the flag
the world stops
and enjoy our true
naked selves..
