A Matter Of Nature

Light shines dimly within
and without pours the rain
spires of smoke rise from the chimney
frost lines the window's pane

The dim light within
is that of the rising dawn
which brings the bubbling joy
of a promising new morn

Within the house is the weather
he brings both joy and pain
without the house is nature
She rouses us beings again

They are within and without
and never the twain shall meet
both are of power divine
but only as a couple achieve any feat...
