I miss turning in the darkness
to feel your body next to mine,
how long can I take this?

will be filled with joyful bliss,
our coupling and our kinship
sealed gently with a kiss.
As each night goes by without you,
as each morning comes along,
it's a countdown 'til I see you
I hope it's not too long.
Tho' my heart just now feels lonely,
as though it's bursting at the seams,
I'll hurry myself to sleep tonight
so I can hold you in my dreams.
