When love is lost.

No Life On Earth

The woman stood in front of the table, her sad hands
Toughened
From previous years of pain and work
She loved him. He was her.
She did everything in her power to
Halt
The day that love would
Shatter
And lay lifeless on the floor
She is empty
Drained
Alone
Half of her soul has taken flight
Like an eagle soaring to the heavens
No longer can she
Work
No longer can she
Feel
No longer can she
Breath
No longer can she
Believe
She can only
Stare at the
Shards of glass
Sleeping on the tile
Reflecting
The joy she once possessed
The freedom she once felt
The love she once
Lived for
Numb
Lifeless
The woman crawls
Slowly bleeding out every ounce of
Life
Left in her
She makes her way to where they used to lay
Together
Waiting for her time
Peering anxiously at the nightstand she finds
Her savior
A piece of her
Sharp and
Broken past
Resting there
Used to spill her
Very
Last
Drop
Her soul has been
Reunited.

Intense and real. I feel this one in my body.
