I was all mixed up
broken shaken
bended and mended
your eyes a rescue
a dance telling me of wonders
amazing days in spoken words
so time takes us along its path
me alongside yours
and the magic all between
and still the time may have come
to walk slowly towards another day
where love speaks in words I understand
but I will be sure
- to ask you for a dance before I leave
keeping you close to me
for that tiny second in heaven
