in my mind
the night falls in between stars
talking of sorrow and forgotten words
my mind wandering in echos of you
a circle within my mind
and I bless the day
you came into my life
broken past talking in tears
a veil of truth unfolding in morning
birds singing tribute to the day
light touching my hand
and fear becomes untrue
you in the breaking of today
streets filled with the sound of life
a streak of coulor painted on our canvas
and I watch time extend in the shadow of our life
