a wish ....
time has come
to break free
leave a dream behind
put fire out of reach
as I stand in the shadow
begging of you to let me in
but you tell me you are spoken for
promised to be true
and you know I walk the same path as you
letting promises keep
but at least I told you how you held me in your heart
and all I got was you telling me to stay
but I need more than that
so I leave you behind
letting tears find their way into days unspoken
