Lonely

Oh! how lonely I feel,
My emotions trouble my mind,
Seconds go by unnoticed.

That I stay within is no surprise,
Else I see that smile that reminds me of you,
For there is a bit of you in every girl I see.

I am that black hole in the universe,
Which once was bright and sparkled,
I am flowing deeper than I should be.

There is a rose blossoming in Eden,
It is neither pruned nor butterflied.
Am I cursed, was I born to love you silent?

If I should die tonight,
With so much love yet no word said,
Let there be no tear shed,
Nor word of praise said.

the pain of your heart is expressed so well. Keep writing for it will help to ease the pain a little at a time. I have been in those dark places and I have been in the light. Someone said, "it's darkest before the dawn." I'm not so sure if that brings any comfort but it is something to cling to. Kathy
