Glorious friendship

Let us take it easy and be friends
since there can be no end to friendship
and it can expand indefinitely
without bounds for its neutrality
without even a chance of any of us getting hurt.
As friends we can enjoy each other
freely without problems and without restrictions,
we can laugh at weaknesses and at each other
and forget all second thoughts
of jealousy, suspicion and reserve.
The universe belongs to friends of all divinity
who in the harmony of friendship may infest it freely
with the merry parties of light-heartedness
and carry on just thriving and carousing easily
in constant celebration of all things that last
among which friendship is the first one
and the very evidence of the stability
of love when it is true.

I like this one Christian!Well said and written! And yes that's the crux of the matter!True love don't posseses, don't obsesses just accepts the person for what it truly is; the sick need of owning someone or otherwise called jealousy is one of the main problems in monogamous relationships but according to my understanding jealousy is a result of lack of inner - confidence, misstrust that the other person doesn't love you as much or insecurity that he or she is not satisfied with the relationship you already have and wil try to find something better - abandonment issues perhaps? I don't know.. . Bad communication between the partners is another common problem... And another one is when we are not strong in ourselves. . . because love affect us(in good and bad ways) we feel vulnerable and become defensive of our own territory. . .
But what I really ask myself is that: what is my own perception of what a true love affair is all about? Is what the society describes as the correct kind of relationships what makes people happy? and so on. . . Thought provoking text my friend! You 've got rambling here!*lol*
