I think everyone's right (maybe not, who knows?)when they say that this
"love"
for you
won't last long.
It'll probably deteriorate in a few years,
or maybe (if we're lucky) in months
or weeks or days, or even (though this isn't likely)
in hours or minutes.
I'm not naive enough
to believe (though I do hope this is true)
that you'll always be my
"one true love"
and that we'll end up together
forever
(or even for just a little while)
(which is ok. "awesome". whatever.)
(because being friends is all I really need.)
