Unexpectedly falling in Love. Yet this love was meant to be.

THE ENCOUNTER

There is something peculiar
about this encounter-
Inevitable, predestined

We both felt that spectacular thing
Which I denied, restricted
But not for long

Slowly, yet timely
Fate decides what must be
Emotions unfold into a craving

A yearning that must
be fed

Pouring out the words
from the depths of my soul
But only silence is emitted

Because not even words
can fill this covert emptiness

BUT a touch-
When I fit my hand so perfectly in yours

And a kiss-
That makes my heart beat
faster even before our lips meet

And the beautiful Love we make
even when we don't

Effortlessly fill the crevices
and seal the cracks of my delicate heart
Smoothing out those rough edges
and immaculately defines the true essence of Love. Love.

A beautiful and passionate poem. I celebrate your meeting each other; and the creation of this precious poem.
