lake

fish scales
hover on the surface
like an even carpet.
orchestrating a dance of fog
the lake mirrors a gargling sun.

within scapes
the horizon is flexing
his god mouth jaws
the lake starts fuming
for a hue
from the bondage of colours.

shouldered lovers
and burdened the same.

he malevolently lusts for dawn
dances with repulsive tides.
squirting moss through breeze
to lure in the half gut morning.

while,
on shore
safely placed between
pumice.
i behold
nature's foreplay
and consider
taking a dip.

Neelima
Excellent. You have interspersed romance in nature. The ending is the best.
