Was editing my myspace profile and started thinking when I got to the "Heroes" section. Not really a short story or a poem, just my thoughts.
Are we someone else's hero? In life shouldn't this be our main goal? Too many people are too oriented towards succcess, I strive more for greatness. I think you can only be truly great when someone sees you as a hero.

Hero
A hero is someone who has risked themselves, or put themselves out to save somebody. Maybe we use the word 'hero' losely. Maybe not everyone has met their hero...yet. Or maybe people have saved us in ways that are so subtle, we haven't even noticed it. I can think of one person who has done this for me. Saved me by quietly caring about me, saved me by being there constantly and turning every major corner in life by my side. I know that they'll be there forever, and not in the typical insincere high school promise 'forever,' but FOREVER, and that's how they continue to save me everyday, and why my best friend is my hero.Are we someone else's hero?
