of love

blanc pages
of loneliness
crumbled pieces
not holding

so I fly away with you
in my imgination
soft days of us

blowing winds
touching evidence
of love

a kiss abiding
wanting to set free
still this crazy world

and me a woman
changing times
dresses covered now

as the sparkle in our eyes
gives way to reality

lastromantichero The PoetBay support member heart!
We all of us get dream loves Iuppose some come true others fade as the light in our eyes fade

this poem expresses so beautifully that condition of the heart where hope mewets reality and no ending lines could better this
passage. i found it just like the love poetry in Rupert Brookes work well done

'as the sparkle in our eyes
gives way to reality '

well done Katherine

This is like stardust in daydreams blowing across wistful minds and cherished hopes. It has a sadness and a beauty that softly float across the heart.
