This is another poem about Beatrix: a woman who went against all odds to publish, and be able to live off her writing. Unfortunately, there were other obstacles that she could not overcome.

Beatrix

Beatrix...LOVING...Beatrix LONGING...for her own life...gets out of
Familial Prison...parents who think that work is shameful...a publisher,
a true love...dies before the Wedding Day...Rage, Anger, Regret...
Beatrix moves out, Independent, finds love again, a lawyer...
William Heelis...Marriage till death...farmer, writer...Revolutionary:
Breaking Out Of The Chains of Social Rules--PATRIARCHY, PROPRIETY...
Upper Class Society...Setting an example for us--THE FUTURE...Yet,
in Sawrey, children shouted: "Grumpy Auld Mother Heelis!"--Life is a
Paradox: Creator of animals so human...of stories so enchanting and
mystical for young minds, as well as others...definitely in the
children's literature canon...Beatrix...Beatrix, you are a mystery,
a symbol of women's struggle in history...Royal Botanical Gardens:
Women Students--NO! Beatrix, you are an inspiration, your art is a
literary jewel: sparkling with the different pastel hues...Beatrix--
your voice is clear: husband, wife--a team...disrespecting, dejecting
a wife, unacceptable--helping the community, those less fortunate...
A washerwoman...Little-town, name of Lucie's farm...Compassion,
kindness, paramount...Beatrix, you are amazing,
an Artistic Apothecary...you are a rebel, you are a naturalist, you are
Scientific...Proof: Algea, Fungus, coexistence...Beatrix, you are
accomplished, creative, and free...Beatrix, your legacy enshrined in
Words and Unforgettable Images...Scientific works that
you discovered...Beatrix--Amazon, and Artist--Beatrix, your soul is
smiling up above, and here on earth your spirit is forever embodied
in colours, and words...

And never a truer word spoken on such a fine person who's work shall go on forever immortalized in her wonderful books, a wonderful dedication to a wonderful author.
