I actually can't remember for the life of me when i wrote this. Probably 2007 area. Probably wrote it after a guy broke up with me (seems to be a good reason to write)
So enjoy this short but to the point poem.


Despite

Despite the pouring rain
I continue to run through my pain.
Despite my heart break
I look at what I can not take.
Despite the tears that fall from my eyes
I never stop to think of all those lies.
Despite what you said
I won't follow the road you led.
Despite what I think
I will not let this sink.
Despite still loving you
I wont think like a fool.
