Who Is He?

What's his favourite colour?
What's his favourite food?
Is there a colour he dislikes?
Or a type of food that makes him sick?

What's his favourite hobby?
Or his favourite sports?
Does he like anything?
Something which could fill his free time?

Does she know anything about him?
Or it's as though she's just been born?
She's been living with him for so long
She still feels she's living in a stranger's home

This poem is a stark reminder that we can lose sight of someone right beside us, whilst gain great insight when we are far apart. We need to nurture the ones we love, not take them or their characters for granted.

Nicely expressed

Smiling at you
