FRIENDS AND FRIENDSHIPS

Friends come and goo ,

You meet some one ,

The impression given ,

That a friendship will grow,

But , it turns out , it were ,

Only temporary ,

As long as the life of a May fly,

Their friendship , good while ,

It lasted.

How true! Some friends are forever, good times through the bad. They know everything about you and yet ther remain true to the friendship sworn. It's a two-way street, friendships that is, you teach as you learn.

I believe one must be taught how to be a friend as well as how to choose good friends also, it is a family obligation to so. In any friendship there is always one person that is more of a friend than the other; at least most of the time.

I've been a friend, both the best and the better and I must say it leave you with the scars of wisdom and knowledge for this is life!
The word friends and friendship are taken for granted and these people are merely associates liking some of the same joys in life as you.

A true friend is like the sun and the moon, rising and falling for every occasions! I know how to be a good friend and unfortunately I've met those that think of only self! Life huh?

One well expressed poem with the truth in a nutshell, easy to eat and pleasant to digest; wisdom for the wiser!

Ken...if they only last as friends as long as the life of a May Fly,
then the question is, were they really friends...

They do, yet the real ones stay, my two oldest friends are there - they know everything about me - stuck, but kept their distance when I was married to a man, everyone else could see was a pig - and were there when I needed them - I hope I can do them justice one day :-)
