Forgotten and Away

Sweet sounds of a flute
Pounding against the night sky
A sad lonely tune
Carried on the wings of a butterfly
The tear of one alone
Breathing pure pain
Longing to run from home
To die in the rain
Unsolved riddles
Death seeking dreams
Play with the fiddles
The blood runs in a solid stream
Encouraging words reach her ears
Her heart takes a final break
The butterfly carries her tears
Forgotten and away
