Continuation to "May she be better than me"

May our love haunt you my beloved

"I don't love you no more" You said when you left me
"Our relationship was dead long ago"

May that haunt you my beloved
May the memories of our perfect days
creep up on you at night
when you're lying with your back against hers

May the thought of my smiles
sharpen every bad word of hers
May my name stick to your lips
every time her fingernails sinks in
where your spine should have been

May the heat from me never leave your bed
and burn you every time you reach out to her

May all we had together never find rest
until I am resting
in arms stronger than yours

Could a message be delivered with more power than this? Just love the cutting venom in the statements. A very well crafted piece.
