life on sand

once upon
I built a castle of sand

I chose to enter it

the grains of sand were big
so they were easy to walk on

some were transparent
some were black
some shone like diamonds

there were also shells on the floor of the castle
they were to big to tramp on

I found a jelly fish
it was short of breath
I didn't know how to help it

so I went on

I found a starfish
it was orange and full of small small spikes
it had three arms
I thought starfish had five

so I went on

I found an indoor river
I put my foot down
the current was strong

so I went on

I came to a spiral staircase
I went upwards
upwards
one step at the time
all the way

I reached a tower
with a view

I glared out
but it was dark
so I could not see

I am still here.

Imagery that puts the reader in deep deliberation, with happy vibes all around. I also think that this poem has a deeper meaning - that which needs experiance to beleive that life is as it is. I really enjoyed this poem, and I hope to read more from you.

Regards,
John.

One seems engulfed by all this sand. The sun shall come in its time and there shall be light enough to see. And the sounds and smells of the sea aren't far off in your kingdom by the sea.
