zebratrees

zebratrees

a forrest of legs
standing still
frozen in the winter
like a borderline of bars

the stripes of the birch
are a fire of wisdom
containing both black and white
opposites and paradox
fragments of a child's thoughts
idealization and devaluation
an integrated tree

they have understood
that the world is neither either
nor or

it is both

I really like this. It's a great expression of the contradictions and paradoxes of life and the world.
