Dad's Little Girl

There was a little girl who asked her Dad I want to go everywhere, will you help me Dad?

The Dad said 'okay', but wait for a little longer till the buds of the wings flower and then soar

Soar she did but after a certain time The Dad was no longer there to see her bask in sunshine

The girl didn't forget the dreams she wove holding her dad's hands in the tiny enclave

It still helps her to find the hidden path when lights are dim and the darkness stark!

Eli The PoetBay support member heart!
As the father of an eleven year old girl who considers the very real possiblity that I will leave this earth before her, I found this story moving and also very beautiful.

Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
