my first attempt at love poetry
i mean it from the core of my heart.
a feeling i nurture just for you,
that grows stronger part by part.
i try to reach out to you,
i want you to know how i feel.
that every time i think about you,
my broken heart begins to heal.
when i tell you that i love you,
it comes from the deepest within me.
if i had one last thing to do,
with you i would want to be.
you mean the world to me,
yet you aren't aware of my existence.
from all of my world i would flee,
just so i could feel your presence.
when i tell you that i love you,
i'd die rather than change my words.
alas you'll never know of my love for you.
your name will be my last words.
