never forget that a tiny action for you could be a source of joy for another

the man on a bench

we all know life can be unpredictable.
sometimes joyous and sometimes unbearable.
but at the end of each day,
out of it all, there's a way.

for me it was the man on a bench,
at the end of the street, who looked french.
all he did was sit there with a book,
and a bright smile that could change the world's look.

in his smile lies a latent force,
strong enough to change your day's course.
yet he probably wasn't aware,
that his smile spread warmth and care.

and this was the force that drove me.
in the darkness, it made me see.
that all of man's actions have an influence,
big or small,on purpose or a mere coincidence.

There is no coincidence, and a good, however small has its power & reward - amazing truth portrayed. Well done.
