Sanctuary!
Occupy my head,Fill it with goodness,
Fill it with generous dreams,
Fill it with thought,
I cant seem to uplift myself,
From a rut my mind created,
My ambitions bursting at the seams..
Your heart is warm,
Warm enough to melt away the pain,
The icicle of agony,
Burns away,
Now we can travel,
To distant shores,
To disband from the streets,
The streets full of rage and travesty,
We ignite the flame,
The flame of prosperity.
You are my heroin,
A hit of nostalgia,
A broken woman,
That has connected herself back together,
Now we are ready,
To escape,
The clutches of the vultures,
That nips at our prize,
Our love..
We have found our sanctuary,
Our new home,
A temple, a closure,
A place that is secure,
We have found a haven,
Thankfully..
The city is screaming,
For our return,
But we wont go back,
Its too dangerous,
We are safe,
Carrying our own burdens,
But our mindsets are not hurting,
We can now think straight,
Straight enough to live a prosperous life..
Hands tight together,
Hearts strung together,
Minds thinking the same,
Recollected thoughts,
Brought back to life,
Our time on this land is limited,
But we will live life to the full,
We will calm the storm that is brewing,
We can thrive and stride,
Through the barrage of illness and bad thoughts,
With heart and soul..
We have found our sanctuary,
Our new home,
A temple, a closure,
A place that is secure,
We have found a haven,
Thankfully.
