TO LAY DOWN

The desire to wrap around my clock ,

Lay down perchance not to dream ,

To think no more , of what was ,

What is , what could be , what will be ,

To experience nothing no more ,

Free of pain , free of disappointment ,

Let downs ,

Nothing , sweet nothing ,

Free at last

"To Wait Or Not To Wait" . . . "To Lay Down" . . . you seem to be treading water in the sea of despond my friend. Reach out, one stroke and then another, make for the shore . . . whatever waits there is better than "nothing."
