Sometimes we can dream. And sometimes, dreams take us to places never traveled.

Lullaby

Distant shores of rock and moss,
Call my heart to listen in the dark
To hear a lullaby sung so soft
-A song so gentle, peaceful and stark,
One sung as silence descends quietly.

a lullaby... just what i need at the moment, lol... it's waaaay past my bedtime.

the first line is kind of like a stroke to the forehead (ok, sorry, that probably sounded weird, i'm just trying to get across the idea: soothing) :) and it stays like that all the way through, very lullaby-soft.

does silence descend quietly? it always blares for me lol

this is good
