THE PAPER WORK VANISHED

The paper work gone missing

The claim it were not ever sent

So therefore no more point

Easy dun as any one understand

No records so therefore thats it

Therefore those with more rights

Must be granted

While others like the self should do

The right thing

Hope is rather like chewing gum

It's flavor drains away

Add stick after stick

All thats left is an aching jaw

Hopeless , helpless

That's life

You remind me of how much of our existence depends upon what is written on various papers, how our "identities" can be stolen when those papers fall into the wrong hands. I often read stories about someone who is quite alive but has been declared dead by some "official" agency or other, and in a very real way ceases to exist. Hope as chewing gum is a very original and often apt image, one I'll not forget.
