A Childs Christmas

Crackers, that they get to see santa and his elves
the lives of housewives and single mums
santa given the children presents wrapped in colourful paper , dressed in scarves hats and gloves.
The children helping out with the twinkly lights of red blue green and orange and that of the trees decorations
as they are,an angel and a star.
Placing stocking for Mr Cringle and singing jingle bells.
A carbon copy of the year before for a few, write cards and a few others send e-card.
The celebration dinner of turkey and ham and every thing sweet there afterwards.
Turkish delight icecream boxs of sweets and lots of toys
from Santa's sack carryed on a sleigh pulled by a reindeer with flashing red nose. (who knows!)
It would be impolite to not have left out milk and honey! cookies also.
And if the children get a snow Yuletide to put on their boots and take out a sleigh
of their own.
Building snowmen using carrots for it's nose and buttons for the snowman's *mince-pies.
Last but not least holly over a door for that
*salute.

*eyes.
*kiss

Nicely rhyming and rhythmic description of a glorious, traditional Christmas. Adults need delight and wonder in their lives too.

The older we get, the more distant these memories become, until they are all but gone. This brought back happy memories for me. Thank you.
