Bright

And although

The colorless corners

And darkened crevices

Of this life

Never cease to disappoint me

And the empty vessels that

Roam around for answers

Always frighten me

You have the brightest

soul

I have ever seen.

I could write the same poem about someone I know, but instead of the word "soul" I would say something about the life/light in their eyes. Maybe it's the same thing. I like this poem, one little bit of brightness makes up for a lot of darkness.
