blows
lifting page's dust
out the window

fly by time's own maw
it's quiet now
by life's standard
-- of what will happen
next
new temptations
written on pages
in mind's eye
lurk round corners drear
it's a coloured world
of black and white
and all shades
of grey
tempted by light
of come
what
may.
