THOSE WHO HAVE GONE

Those who have gone - never forgot
Though - we may of come to terms
Has best we could
An aching pain remains - and always will
Time to time we will cry - only we will know why
A friend may understand - hug us - no words said
No need - time to time we will talk - someone will listen
As tears fall from our eyes roll down our cheeks
Those who go - part of what they were remains with us

It is a hard subject to write about. We get by as best we can and yes sometimes we hurt for the rest of our lives. They are not really gone. Nice work Ken.

The pain of the loss of my Father and Mother is always with me Ken, and it is not true that time heals...the initial agony goes away, but the pain and sorrow remain. I loved reading this, but it brought more than one tear.
