2008-03-31 Living for thousands of years means to live for ever, the soulful living. This is something which makes one remember about one's eternal and deathless living.
It is nice a poem and thank you!

Love Destroys

|
2007-04-04 YES
Love Destroys.....
I have been loved by cold winters, heavy rains and burning sun rays.
Thorns have loved me as much as the slippery ways. I have been loved by lost dreams.
And I have loved them.............!!!!!

word fails
|
|
2007-04-04 Two hearts in true love understand each others' silence. The beauty of silence between these hearts will be lost if words come between. So words fail.
But when not in love, two hearts can misunderstand each others' silence. So words are necessary, as silence fails.
If expressed with silence and words mixed appropriately, no matter if there is love or not between two hearts, they reach to create love. So, love is created by
Word with silence
Silence with word
because, silence becomes powerful with appropriate words and word becomes powerful with appropriate silence.
This is the point where the poem reaches its peak. And at the peak it happens:
Love in heart
Glow in eye...
And slowly the poem rolls down back with the same lines....
Word fails to tell
Silence can...

bring a lemon
|
|
2007-04-04 The poet is very sure that she never returns back.
He knows that his love or his longing cannot bring her back.
But he has dreams to bring her back and makes a last desperate attempt, he goes to a monk. While the monk says very surely that he can bring her back with the help of a lemon, the poet laughs at it.
He redicules the monk and at the same time redicules himself for making this attempt of seeking the help of the monk.
The poet returns back. Though he does not hope to bring the lemon, the words remain in his mind, the hopeless words `bring a Lemon I will bring back her...'
Nice a poem... but the poet does not tell why bring her back!!!

2007-04-03 With child, every mother feels that she has no other world.
And she behaves in such a way that the whole world is her child.
And one of the results is,
the POEM like this..........

Art of Happiness
|
|
2007-04-03 Happiness is there in the dream of happiness
Happiness is there in the thought of happiness
Happiness is there only in the way of happiness....
I feel so.
The poem reveals the truth that HAPPINESS IS, WHEN THE MIND IS PURE.
And, sure, one needs to steal happiness from the fleeting moments, otherwise, TIME steals it.
The complexion of the poem changes with the lines
``Cause there is no greater pleasure
Than giving joy to another8...''
because it changes from getting happiness to giving happiness.
Finally the poem arrives at the final truth, that HAPPINESS IS WITHIN US.
