i can empathize with the feelings expressed in this poem... (similar to one I wrote called Eclipse). undoubtedly, the winter can freeze over more than the ground we walk on

Concerned message

what resilient love you describe here... Interesting though, how you begin the poem with two questions that carry hints of defeat and disbelief. Those traces seem to vanish as the poem progresses, the narrator seems to become so certain of their love's pursuit as to use the word 'forever'...well written

A Paler Shade Of Blue

I agree with Rob, the last stanza is a wonderful closer to this well written poem..I really get a feel for the rustic life you describe here despite the city's skyscrapers looming out my window..

If You'd Like to Know Why...

Love this piece- a sentiment I can relate to. I like how you spaced "your worthwhile interest" from the previous stanza that ends in near...it materializes that distance you describe. a very effective poem that I found to be a pleasure to read..well done

Blue Eyes Flaunting Great Seas of Knowledge

I really enjoyed your poem- you seem to play on somewhat of a paradox here (that I have found to be true of love). The heart in the poem is seems to be struck by both light and darkness. The lighter phrases..sunlight, tenderness, kiss of spring...all existing with the darker ones...dark crime, ragged purple thorn, wet carnation. Like a rose and its thorn? This was my interpretation- you do well to describe loves' many angles.

Loved this poem, you have a very unique and extraordinary way of arranging words... I love the celestial undertone of this poem...explosions, light, plants, orbit, space - perfect title

Sometimes I feel I am the Rain

Hey I loved this poem. I love the interesting relationship you develop between love and nature, and the way the narrator truly seems to embody the essence of rain
