I feel I can somewhat relate to who the poem is meant for. I don't want to make any claims of knowing about who or the situation, but I do know my mind at times can almost drown me in worry. Even if I didn't it or I am not the one hurting...
Something I feel is also worthy of mentioning is the word "Welt" in German means world. The Welts on one's back is the tears of the weight of the world.
Truly wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

| God's Ten Commandments

You only have to believe in God as your savior, that he came and lived on this Earth to die for you so that He could have a relationship with you. The Ten Commandments is an outline of common sins and its use is to be kept in the front of people's minds so they don't sin.
The above is not towards the poem or poet, but addressed to the comments where there was a question asked.
Pretty poem, but works don't get you to Heaven. God does.
