We're all different.
Difference
Written 2009-07-07Different.
To be different means going against the masses.Being who you want to be and doing what you want.
We're all different. Different hair colour, eye colour, height, weight and different personalities. Some people have dyslexia or autism, they're not aliens from a different planet you know. I was fourteen when my counsellor told me I may have low spectrum autism, I wasn't bothered. It didn't affect me that much I just saw and thought about things differently. Even if people are different they're still human even if the old lady across the street doesn't look it underneath all the wrinkles.
People sterotype teenagers. Well what do you expect? They sterotype themselves. They catagorize ourselves and other people into a catagory based on what they wear or what they say. In my town apparently if you hang around freeman street you're automatically a druggie, never mind if you've never touched drugs in your life your still a druggie. We sterotype into many catagories such as goth, emo, chav, punk, prep, wannabe, prude and skater. When I was a teenager I was once called a prude because I refused to have sex with a guy 3 years older then me never mind I was only 13.
We have sterotypes, we discriminate and persecute what we don't understand. It's happens all through history, Hitler did it. He persecuted against the Jews because he thought they were inferior. White people did it, they persecuted the black people because white people took them from their homes then felt they didn't belong. People petitioned for rights of women and girls because men thought they were inferior and that men were superior.People have fought for the rights when other people took them away.Martin Luther-King rallied for the rights of black people, Britian itself fought and died for the rights of the Jews when Hitler took them away. In no way are people inferior, we're all the same.
It's by no fault of our own if we're different, life would be boring if we were the same.Same eye colour, same hair colour, same likes and dislikes. You would walk down the street and everyone would look like you.You wouldn't be unique, you wouldn't be you everyone would be you. Say there's this girl in school, you don't like her, no one does. They all call her 'Freak, you don't even think she deserves a name after all she's just Freak.
What's different about her? Is it her eye colour, the shade of blue similar to your mum, so no, it can't be that. Is it her hairstyle? Some of the year sevens' have hair like that and you talk to them so no it can't be that. It's not her teeth, they're straight and white. It can't be her personality, she's quiet and doesn't talk to anyone, she's the same height as you and not overweight or too skinny. So what is it?Why do you hate her? There's no reason, she doesn't annoy you, she doesn't even look at you. So why do you hate her? you discriminate against her without reason,it's not right.
How would you feel if some one said you don't deserve a name?
How would you feel if you walked home alone each night because everyone hated you?
How would you feel if you were terrified to come in to school because you wasn't wanted?
To feel alone when you're surrounded is a terrible thing, and I hope you never feel it. I was tormented in school by this one set of girls because I was different now I thrive on it.How would I be me if I was just like them, another Jane, another Susan, another Becky.I wouldn't enjoy it, I am my own person who loves independence and you should to. So what if they want to wear skirts in to school, wear jeans, be different.
Don't persecute and don't discriminate.Life would be boring without variety.

They called us whores.
Generation Sex
Written 2009-07-07I read the newspaper for once in my life today and do you know what it did? It called us 'generation sex'. I don't want to be grouped with a bunch of girls who are whores, that's not who I want to be. I am ashamed of being a teenager in 2009. There's ten year olds whoring themselves out, they're ten for god's sake.Is that all you want to be? A whore? Scum that's not even fit to lick the bottem of your shoes? For God's sake people need to get some values, I don't want to be known as 'generation sex'
A whore? Why be a whore, dressing in slutty clothes all you look like are hoes. You could be a make up artist like bobbi brown, an actress like Emma Watson in big films, your name in lights on the big screens with everyone knowing your name. There's no point in whoring yourself out when all you're gonna get is an STD.What's the point?
I don't see the point in it at all.
It's not what you wear, it's about who you are. Why be some one your not? I thnk this generation need to think a little before they have sex and be hoes!!
